Remarks :10 Bryan's Shearwaters were seen on this island. One of them had eggs in its nest.
Taxonomic Notes :Species first described from a museum specimen in 2011. Initially thought to be probably extinct, a small breeding colony was discovered breeding on the Ogasawara Islands in early 2015.
