Remarks :Habitat is scrub and open secondary deciduus woodland, c. 350 m elevation.

Identified as Indochinese because that's the only cuckooshrike that sings on the campus during the breeding season, and is resident there, combined with the great expanse of white on the tips of the tail feathers (more or less forming a solid block, uninterrupted by black) on the underside of the folded tail of this individual (not shown in photo, unfortunately), and which is diagnostic of Indochinese in all plumages. - PDR
