Remarks :A pair of babbler very vocal in the early morning. The common call is either:
a. a “puh” followed by 4 “wuh-wuh” notes
b. the same call as above but intermingled with an answering call by the partner that is rather harsh. One good description of the response call is by Robson (2002) who pronounces it as “iwit-cherrhh-iwit-cherrhh”. This call is usually given as soon as the first call is uttered but may occasionally precede it.
