Remarks :This bird was mist-netted, ringed and released.
Taxonomic Notes :Monotypic species endemic to the eastern Himalaya (India & Bhutan).
The form Sphenocichla (h.) roberti is now considered a separate species under the name Chevron-breasted Babbler.
