Remarks :This Brahminy Starling chick had fallen into the monsoon water drainage line at our colony. The chick was not able to fly, so I took it out from the drainage line and put it on road. Its parents were observing the whole episode. Once I left the place, they started feeding the chick but every time they fed the chick then poked with beak there beak like saying move from here. After ten minutes, the chick started walking and shifted to bushes near the road. I kept the chick on the road because his parents could see him there. This road is without any traffic and we seated it there till he shifted to the bushes. Next morning we saw him sitting on a wire. - PM
