Bird Family :Accipitrinae - Hawks, Bazas, Honey-buzzards, Eagles, Kites, Vultures, Harriers & Buzzards

Remarks :We happened to witness a live tooth and nail fight between this mighty raptor and the cogent cobra. In the first encounter the bird was successful in "air-lifting" the snake, but after a brief flight, it had to drop the snake and the fighting continued. The cobra albeit wounded, never gave up and the bird had to finally let it go... (You can see the hissing cobra in the corner of the picture). - JK
